I got the showbiz bug at Woodstock High School while in their theatre program. I found the radio bug while I was a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. They say “If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life”. I am proof that it’s true. From the minute I walked into WSUW FM 91.7, the college station in Whitewater, I found that connection.
How did I land in Rockford? A buddy of mine fixed me up on a blind date. Yes, a blind date.
I met my wife Yvonne on that blind date to see REO Speedway at the BMO Harris Bank Center, known at that time as the Metro Centre. It was like a connection I never felt. They say, “You know when it’s right, it’s right”. Yup.
Working in Rockford Radio gives you the chance to help so many. I am a Board Member for GiGi’s Playhouse-Rockford serving many with Down Syndrome. I assist whenever I can with The Rockford Salvation Army, March of Dimes, The Rock River Valley Food Pantry, and many more.

Ryan Sartori
95.3 The Bull Morning Host
Ryan is a brother, son, long-time boyfriend and a damn good friend. He’s more “go with the flow” than “let’s make a plan”. He’s both an early bird and a night owl. He’s certainly a people person. And he hates the thought of touching the soggy food at the bottom of the sink.
He knows more about sports than the person on the other end of the conversation usually cares to know – batting average isn’t as important as you think it is, kids. And the outcome of a Cubs/ Bears game can sometimes determine his mood (but we’re getting better at that).
There isn’t a time of day or season of the year where an iced americano sounds like a bad idea. He has few vices in life, but expensive coffee and good food are certainly his soft spots. Ryan’s hidden talent is his Trump impression that he’s been told is, “the best impression that isn’t very good”.
Ryan is a childhood cancer survivor and loves to donate his time to causes that assist in that community – like Camp One Step and more. He enjoys being walked by his extra-large goldendoodle, Clark, and finding a “cool hang” to stop off at for a few hours. And on the way to literally any event he’s belting out 80’s power ballads, 90’s rock or country music in his car.
Ryan is a huge fan, supporter and participator in the Rockford/Stateline community, and he loves radio and loves being a part of the 95.3 The Bull team.
